Case Study
Speciality Food Brand
Restoring confidence in the data before building a more profitable ecommerce account.
The Background
We had to trust the data first
When we took over the account, the first job wasn't improving performance. It was making sure we could trust it.
The account had a double tracking issue, which meant the numbers weren't giving us a true picture of what was happening. Before we could make confident decisions, we needed confidence in the data itself.
Once that was fixed, we could finally start asking the questions that mattered. Where was growth coming from? Which products had the biggest opportunity? Which adverts genuinely brought in new customers?
The Challenge
We weren't looking for one winning advert
One thing became obvious quite quickly. The account had some strong performers, but too much of the revenue was coming from the same products and the same creative.
That works for a while. Eventually performance slows, creative fatigues and growth becomes much harder to maintain.
Rather than chasing one big breakthrough, we wanted to build an account that kept finding the next opportunity.
What Changed
A continuous-testing growth engine
We Fixed The Numbers First
There wasn't much point testing new ideas if we couldn't trust the reporting. Fixing the double tracking issue gave us a much clearer understanding of what was actually working - and meant every decision after that was based on reliable data rather than inflated results.
We Kept Looking For The Next Winner
One thing you'll notice about this account is that we never stopped testing. Some ideas worked. Some didn't. We tested new creative, new campaign structures, new offers and different ways of bringing people into the brand. One of the biggest breakthroughs came from the Starter Bundle - after testing different versions, it quickly became one of the strongest ways of acquiring new customers and became a much bigger part of the account.
We Didn't Want To Rely On One Product
The Tikka Spice Blend continued to perform well, but we didn't want the account depending on one product forever. As more data came in, we introduced product bucketing so we could give stronger products more budget without switching everything else off completely. It gave us much more flexibility - and meant the account could adapt as different products started performing well throughout the year.
Google Became The Next Opportunity
Once Meta was in a healthy place, we introduced Google Ads. Rather than copying what was already happening on Meta, we focused on high-intent searches and gradually expanded from there. Within a few months, Google had become another reliable acquisition channel, delivering an average 9.53x ROAS across the partnership.

The Results
An account that never stops learning
The account is constantly evolving. Every month brings new ideas, new creative and new tests - but everything starts with the same question: "What have we learnt?" That mindset has helped the business continue finding new opportunities instead of relying on the same campaigns month after month.
Today, Google Ads delivers an average 9.53x ROAS. June became the strongest month of the partnership - with 24.7% revenue growth, 33.3% more orders and 58.9% more new customer orders than the previous month. More importantly, the business now has an account that's built around continuous testing rather than standing still.
